Sr. IT Project Manager

IDR is seeking a Sr. IT Project Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Lawrenceville, GA. This role will be leading enterprise IT projects, focusing on creating key project management deliverables and working closely with diverse stakeholders. The organization values experienced project leadership and technical expertise.

Position Overview for the Sr. IT Project Manager:

• Lead and support complex enterprise projects aligned with government IT initiatives.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including status reports, risk logs, and executive briefings.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and budgets while maintaining high-quality customer service.
• Bring clarity to ambiguous requirements and foster alignment across cross-functional teams.

Requirements for the Sr. IT Project Manager:

• Strong knowledge of PMBOK and Agile frameworks; able to plan, execute, and tailor methodologies as needed
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills with executive-level presence; delivers clear status updates and leadership-ready documentation
• Proven ability to resolve issues, influence stakeholders, negotiate challenges, and meet strict timelines
• Experienced in managing technology vendors across the full project lifecycle, including performance tracking, deliverables, issue resolution, and risk mitigation
• Solid understanding of SDLC; coordinates effectively with internal IT teams and external vendors for seamless delivery
