IDR is seeking a Social Content Designer and Editor to join one of our top clients in Chicago, IL. This exciting role involves bringing our client's brand to life across various social media platforms through innovative and engaging content. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Social Content Designer and Editor:

Design and create social-first templates and assets for platforms like Instagram, including Stories, Reels, and in-feed posts. Capture and edit both photo and video content tailored for social media, ensuring high-quality, narrative-driven video edits that align with our client's brand tone and aesthetic. Collaborate closely with the social and creative teams to brainstorm, storyboard, and refine content ideas. Stay ahead of trends by experimenting with emerging styles, motion design, and animation to keep content fresh and engaging. This is a part-time, flexible position with a 6-month contract, offering approximately 25-40 hours per week.

Required Skills for Social Content Designer and Editor:

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects. 3-5 years of experience in social media editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. Ability to shoot and edit short-form content, with a keen eye for visual composition, typography, and color. Self-motivated and detail-oriented, thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Experience with animation or motion graphics and agency experience is a plus.
