IDR is seeking a PeopleSoft Senior Programmer Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Suwanee, Georgia. This role is within a leading organization in the public sector, focusing on designing and implementing PeopleSoft applications and solutions. The position requires a highly skilled technical expert capable of supporting long-term projects with minimal supervision.
Position Overview for the PeopleSoft Senior Programmer Analyst:
- Responsible for the design, development, testing, and implementation of PeopleSoft applications, primarily in web environments
- Maintain and enhance existing systems while creating new functionalities to optimize solutions
- Conduct analysis of application systems, report on tasks, and assist in requirement gathering and feasibility studies
- Provide technical expertise and support to ensure high-quality system performance
- Work closely with users and technical teams to deliver world-class customer service and facilitate project success
Requirements for the PeopleSoft Senior Programmer Analyst:
- 10+ years of experience as a contractor in a technical programming role
- Strong coding skills in PeopleSoft 9.2 (preferred) and 8.6 or higher, including PeopleCode, SQR, SQL, Component Interfaces, Application Engine, and BI Publisher
- Active hands-on experience with web services and creating new pages, programs, applications, and customizations
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts effectively to users
- Ability to work in a highly technical environment, with knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle and relational database design
