IDR is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Metro Atlanta. This role involves providing advanced IT support focusing on network troubleshooting, desktop hardware and software support, and Active Directory management.
This role will be Fully Onsite, Monday - Friday, in Conyers, GA.
Position Overview for the IT Support Specialist:
- Provide advanced technical support for desktop hardware, operating systems, and application software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP connectivity problems.
- Manage and support Microsoft Active Directory, including local and group policies.
- Support and maintain video conferencing, A/V, and dash cam equipment and software.
- Utilize ServiceNow for ticket management, escalation, and reporting.
Requirements for the IT Support Specialist:
- Active professional certification(s) such as A+, Network+, Cloud+, or equivalent.
- 2+ years of IT support and infrastructure management experience.
- Experience using ServiceNow
- Hands-on experience with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of desktop hardware, OS, and application software.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot TCP/IP network issues
