General Summary:
The XY Trimble Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining and servicing all Trimble surveying equipment. Laying out of points and elevations with GPS and line of sight Trimble equipment on job sites for installation of electrical conduit and equipment including panels, light fixtures, manholes, building corners and walls, etc.

- Experience preferred operating or being familiar with Trimble T100 Tablet and Trimble RTS573 Robotic Unit.

References, Background Check, MVR Check, Drug Screen Testing, Valid Driver’s License.
Responsibilities:
- Verify the accuracy of onsite project conditions and existing surveys in place.
- Record the results of surveys, including the shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land or land features.
- Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other points on jobsites.
- Plan and conduct ground surveys designed to establish baselines, elevations, and other geodetic measurements.
- Adjust and maintain surveying instruments in order to maintain their accuracy.
- Establish fixed points on projects to be used for layouts.
- Train other Trimble equipment user throughout the company for remote projects.
- Develop existing surveying process and procedures.
- Support company Safety & Human Resources policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- License: Valid state driver's license as required by job conditions or by the company.
- Certification: None required.
- Education: High School Graduate or GED.
- Experience using surveying equipment.
- Ability to work out of town for multiple nights each week.

Working Conditions:
- Job requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain, or snow.
- Must be able to utilize construction site sanitary facilities (Porta-Johns).
- Work in restricted areas (switch gear-room, manholes, utility tunnels and crawl spaces).
- Wear personal protective equipment as required.
- Able to work 40 hours per week and overtime as required, including night shifts and out-of-town work if required.
Required Physical/Mental Functions:
- Comprehend and practice safe work procedures as outlined in Company Safety Handbook.
- Operate company truck with manual and automatic transmission.
- Read and interpret maps, manuals, work site directions, and written instructions.
- Must hear and see well (either natural or with correction).
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull and reach overhead.
- Able to lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Tolerant to prolonged standing and movement on foot.
- Climb ladders (all types).
- Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers.
