IDR is seeking a
Data Architect to join one of our top clients in
McKinney, TX. Position Overview:We are seeking a Data Architect to help design and implement a secure, scalable data environment. This role will focus on centralizing systems into a modern cloud-based platform, building data pipelines, and establishing standards for how information is organized and managed. The ideal candidate has experience with cloud data platforms, data modeling, and governance, and can partner across teams to deliver long-term solutions that support growth and innovation.
Top Skills:- 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data warehousing/modeling, cloud platform architecture, and enterprise database design
- 5+ years of experience writing scripts in SQL and Python (debug, etc.)
- 5+ years’ experience building APIs and organizing data lakes
- 3+ years of experience building and managing data lakehouse solutions using Snowflake
Nice to Have:- Certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) for enterprise architecture, Cloud Data Architect Certificates (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software/Computer Engineering, or a related field
