IDR is seeking a Business Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, TX. This role involves supporting project initiatives focusing on data analysis, process improvement, and vendor management. Position Overview for the Business Analyst:
- Provide project support to Department Directors and process leaders.
- Analyze business processes, present alternatives, and make recommendations.
- Assist in resolving technical and business issues related to planning, performance measurement, and change management.
- Manage activities related to contract and vendor management, procurement, and technological applications used within Customer Care.
- Utilize data analysis skills to develop reports, graphs, and insights for decision-making.
Requirements for the Business Analyst:
- 8+ years of experience with cost-benefit analysis and total cost of ownership modeling
- Professional experience in a utility, oil, gas, or similar industry
- 8+ years of analyzing data for report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts and finding solutions for complex problems
- 2+ years of procurement lifecycle experience
- 3+ years of financial system and payment reconciliation experience
