Position Summary

The Assistant Director of Athletic Communication will report to the Director of Athletic Communication, will assist in the production of ESPN+ broadcasts, assist in the creation of audio/visual content for various digital platforms in Athletics, including Liberty Arena, Home of the Screaming Eagles, and other creative services as needed.

The successful candidate will be utilized to produce live events and development of creative content (video and still) that can enhance awareness, attendance, and revenue for Athletics. The ideal candidate will have a track record in live production and video content creation.

They should possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as a strong ability to work independently and collaboratively. The Assistant Director of Athletic Communication will play a crucial role in building Athletics’ reputation and audience by producing high-quality video content and executing live events that engage and excite fans.
